Wanamataifa Investment Company Ltd was registered in 2011 as an investment arm of the UNSACCO to generate revenue for UN Sacco and provide alternative products such as housing, land and Insurance.
Wanamataifa is fully owned by UN SACCO and is governed by a board comprising five of the nine directors from the SACCO. Operational management is handled by the Secretariat, led by the General Manager, under the strategic guidance of its Board.
To enhance its offerings, Wanamataifa has partnered with Safaricom Investment Cooperative Ltd and Centrum Real Estate (CentumRE). Through these collaborations, UN SACCO members benefit from discounted prices on housing products, ensuring accessible and affordable real estate solutions.
